Emmett Smith from Northern Power & Light has been working in small hydro for many years, and has local roots as the nephew of Matt Foley, owner of the Wadhams hydroelectric facility. NP&L now works with independent hydro facilities through the region from Potsdam to Warrensburg and serves customers large and small including Paul Smith’s College and the City of Glens Falls."
